It's not possible right now. Could I ask what is your use case? We thought it's quite useful to have all your contacts and sms in one place and we were always asked to implement sms sync for J2ME for example but it's not possible.

Use case? I don't exactly understand your question. For my case, I don't find it quite useful to sync or keep sms messages.
