I have just received my mobile bill, and even with unlimited internet access (actually 128MB fair usage policy!!) I have been charged over £300 for Internet access alone
Bloove is the only new Internet application I have started using, apart from my normal emails and web browsing.
Is it possible that bloove agent is using far more than it should? I have read the FAQ's and the information regarding usage is
We are using our own optimized protocol between agent and server. It consumes about 20 Kbytes per hour in idle mode. Largest data transfer will occur on first connection, it is about 10 Kbytes per 100 contacts. Subsequent operations transfer only changed data.
I would have had to be using bloove for something like 3.5 years to rack up that amount!!!
Has anybody else experienced this? Or is there something else on my phone which could be racking up Internet usage. I connect to my email once every hour but this is minimal.
The phone is Nokia N95 8GB
